Beef & Pork Meatballs

This is a recipe that will get love from children to adults. It’s also great to make a big batch and keep them frozen or to serve at large parties as appetizers. It’s such a versatile recipe! You can make meatballs or beef patties, eat them alone as an appetizer, serve them with pasta, use them to make burgers or mini burgers, and etc. This juicy recipe is something that my husband asks for every few weeks, so hope everyone enjoys it!


Ingredients (Approx. 20 meatballs)

500g minced beef

500g minced pork

1/2 onion, finely chopped

1 egg

2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

1 teaspoon of dried parsley

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons of soy sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F / 220C.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a big bowl and mix well.

  3. With your hands, make the meatballs. Depending on the size of your meatballs, you should get around 15-20 meatballs.

  4. Place them in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until it’s cooked. I start at 20 minutes and take one out to see and add 2-3 more minutes at a time. Since it also has pork in them, you want to make sure they are fully cooked through.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

* You can also freeze them uncooked and enjoy them later!
